Impatient Melde's New Signature Image

Melde is spec'd as a demonologist in Archeage, which is essentially a mage who can DPS and CC.

Clyde is her donkey.  If Clyde has his own little valley, it would be called Clyde's Dale.  Impatient Melde thinks this pun is hilarious...

This is Izzy's new signature image... we are a gamer couple!

Elven Elk Mount

I woke up this morning (okay, afternoon) to the hiss of our little girl cat accompanied by the baritone wail of Zhozho.  We call it the sister siren.  For whatever reason, these two cats hate one another with passion and are separated by a double-high baby gate (Zhozho doesn't jump that high - we're pretty sure he's afraid of heights).  Regardless, they often express their hatred through creative song, no matter how many pheromone diffusers I plug in.

Out of the five cats that share our abode, Zhozho is both the softest and jerkiest.  Thus, given his general warrior demeanor, I turned him into one of my Archeage alts.

This is a rare photo of Zhozho leaving a hat on for more than a few seconds, though you can tell he was not amused.  He does not fancy being a role-playing cat, especially if it involves LARPing.

Assassin's Kittens Unity

Alas, since our guild leader updated Impatient Melde's KNS page (Kittens and Sparkles), the Assassin's Creed Kittens left.

Now, you can find them here.

Not Archeage-related necessarily, but as soon as I can find the right screencapture program, there will be a unique version of Petit Poney too...

Rare Plant Drops

I did a little research recently on the rare drop items from various plants.  As far as I can tell, most of these drops used to be part of recipes but are not any longer.  Thus, I was saving them up for really no reason at all.

The exceptions to this are Scarlet Rose Petals, Fragrant Lavender, Fragrant Beans, and Fiery Chili Peppers.  These four items are used for Blue Salt Brotherhood quests in Windshade.  Flower Seller Laine asks for three Scarlet Rose Petals and three Fragrant Lavender as her final quest items... Farmer Makella requests two Fragrant Beans and two Fiery Chili Peppers as his second-to-last items in the Farmer's Calendar line of quests.

Of course, when it comes to animals, many of those rare drops are used.  I deal more with the plant side of things, but I do know that Farmer Makella needs two Broken Goat Horns and three Golden Eggs before he gives you your Battle Cat and title.  I'm pretty sure that Raw Duck Meat is part of the daily Farmer's Station quests... but that is an Izzy question really.

Guildies, if you're reading this... Impatient Melde usually keeps some vanilla and pepper stocked... you can only get those through gathering.  Soon I'll post the list of quest items for the Blue Salt Brotherhood quests in Windshade.  I had a difficult time finding them online and it made me crazy.  I don't go by Impatient Melde for nothing!

Farmcart

Ah, the Archeage farm cart.  Anyone who has owned or driven a farm cart in Archeage knows they get stuck rather easily in the oddest of places.  Beware scarecrows, saplings, and sharp inclines my friend, or you may end up looking like Daisy here.

Incidentally, one of our guildmates went AFK while on his farm cart last night.  He DC'd just as we were getting ready to plant a circle of grapevines around his cart... for protection, of course.

At any rate, congratulations Izzy on your thunderstruck trees and new Archeage farm cart... I know that you'll be ready to mule five of Impatient Melde's packs whenever she needs, right?
